The Popular Show Campaign 4 Unveils the Fighters Party

Since the launch of the fourth campaign, recently appointed game master the talented storyteller has kept fans guessing with deep backstory, a diverse cast of personalities, and a thrilling plot showcasing divine entities, demons, and malevolent powers growing in power within the urban setting.

Note: Spoilers for Episode 3 of the new season follow below.

The Combat-Oriented Party Unveiled

The third episode finished on a huge suspense moment and introduced the premier party of heroes who will branch out from the central cast to embark on their independent quest, apart from the remaining groups.

This warrior group consists of Teor Pridesire (portrayed by Travis), Thimble (Laura), the strong-willed figure (Whitney), Wicander Halovar (the player), and the mysterious adventurer (Robbie).

Why Split the Party?

With a large ensemble, it was evident from the beginning that keeping everyone at a single group would be impossible.

That’s why, the initial installments of Campaign 4 serve as an Prelude, connecting the characters’ stories before dividing into three smaller tables: Warriors, Schemers, and Seekers.

What Defines the Soldiers Table

Per Brennan Lee Mulligan, the Soldiers table is for participants who enjoy a traditionally charged battle-oriented gameplay experience where peaceful solutions are rare.

At first glance, figures such as the reluctant priest the cleric might look mismatched, but the events of the third episode show why these five characters are best suited for the warrior group.

Why They Must Go

First, the party has a clear idea where to go next after a brutal first encounter with The Crow Keepers.

Casimir of Thjazi—whose death kicked off the campaign’s events—used the foes for his own means, entering Thjazi’s hideout, assaulting the character, and swiping all the enchanted items to dispose of.

The antagonist then paid off his obligations and ran away to a secure base in the remote area, beyond the city, with Cyd hot on his heels.

Character Drivers

Secondly, each member has a individual motive to exit the urban setting:

  • The rogue, as the close ally and closest confidant, seeks vengeance.
  • The knowledgeable figure is familiar with Timmony and warns that it is a nasty environment.
  • Tyranny and The healer, having defied his relatives’ demands to eliminate the target and instead freed him, have no safe haven.
  • But, their position as key figures in the influential clan could help the party access areas they usually can’t.
  • Additionally, Teor vowed a life debt to The cleric for his salvation and will now follow him everywhere.

Fugitives

In addition, all of them are sought by the authorities that control Dol-Makjar for a variety of reasons, making staying in the city no longer safe:

  • The agile adventurer and The character are known criminals.
  • The strong figure and Wicander defied the influential house and the army of fiends they are partnered with.
  • Teor is marked for death by the family.

This results in them few options but to journey toward Timmony in pursuit of the traitor.

What’s Next?

From episode three’s post-show segment, we find out that the warrior group will be absent the following episode, leaving the other eight participants to assemble the Questers and Strategists groups.

Viewers can look forward to discovering which characters will be assigned to which table in Campaign 4’s last Overture episode, available to watch on October 24.
